The central concept of the edelan 6061 clavichord is to blend the traditional subtle sound of a clavichord with minimalist contemporary design. This is achieved by using musical parts similar to those common throughout the last 400 years and encasing them in a functional minimal frame, i.e., it has only those elements that are required to structurally support the instrument.
